  • Mundane Equipment:

    • 3x skinning knives (daggers – not designed for throwing; -2 to hit if thrown) – sell
    • 3x leather armor (smells like unwashed bear). Includes war-kilts suitable for riding. – Kassandra / Cadence / Leathers
    • 2x bear traps with bells and fishing-line trip wires – sell
  • Magical bone charm – carved in the shape of a boat with a swan bowsprit. Two of the three masts are broken – Derth
  • Magical potion (unknown) – vial of moss-green liquid with brown strands/chunks floating in it. – Derth
  • Magical quiver – has 3 compartments that hold 45 non-magical arrows – Kassandra
  • Magical silver brooch – in the shape of a raven, was being worn by the Bugbear Shaman. – Derth
  • Speaking stone – matches the one we already have. – Derth has one and Mina has the other (at the start of session 6)

Broken Chest + Poisoned Lock – found in the woods and believed to have held gold ingots. Chest was exhumed from the grave of a lighthouse keeper named Tovar who died 5 years ago. Lock was magical and poisoned with jellyfish venom.

Dr. Druckers’ Stash:

  • Key Ingredient Unknown – the recipe lists “Greengu” as the final ingredient. We don’t know what it is, but an alchemist might.
  • Scent Cloak – a cloak designed to mask scent from tracking animals. Potentially useful for sneaking into places unnoticed or evading pursuit.
  • Scrap of Leather with Alchemical Notes – contains a recipe for Rage Potions and a fake version of the same. The writing includes both Drudy’s script and what appears to be Oggrel text.

Drom Masterwork Weapons Cache – hidden beneath the burned-down lighthouse. The Party looted the cache, equipping themselves with some of them and stashing as many as they could carry in the forest outside Reschenford. Their origin and rightful owners remains a mystery.

Statue in Mayor Val’Assante’s library – stately statue of the Mayor’s great-grandfather that seems to hold a strange power over him.

Speaking Stone – found with the Drom cache of masterwork weapons under the lighthouse. Carved with a swirling pattern that glows with blue ethereal light. When asked a question is responded in a language that sounded like Drom.

Underground Map by Murkho – looted off the Goblin War-Chanter by Rocky. May depict an area hidden beneath Pebble Hills or the Xerbal Mountains. Signed by a map-maker we haven’t met yet named Murkho.

NPCs

Achamian – sought out the party specifically to warn us against using magic in order avoid the Harvesters.

Andrus – Captain at Daggerspine Watch and former sheriff of Reschenford.

Black Bear Paw Clan – a band of marauding goblins and bear oggrel known to cause trouble. They are suspected of robbing a grave in Reschenford.

Bruno – the footman for Gottri’s Caravan, the troupe that was supposed to perform at the Swallow-tail Festival our first night in Reschenford.

Captain Barnabus Harrigan – notorious captain of The Wormwood.

Captain Gourmandaise – merchant captain of The Gavotte.

Dr. Drudy Drucker – Kassandra’s quary; tracked Drucker to Reschendford. Found lurking beneath the Lighthouse. Party looted his stash.

Father Krul Val’Tensen – High Priest of The Temple of Hurrian.

Iskren – leader of the Drom team of builders working on Lady Andina Val’Sheem’s casino. Met (K)Lorna at the Storm Crow Tavern the day after we arrived in Reschenford.

Mayor Gaius Val’Assante – mayor of Reschenford. Husband to High Priestess of the Temple of Larissa. 

Mayor Val’Assante’s Daughter – a person of interest. May have been romantically involved with Tovar.

Mayor Val’Assante’s Great-Grandfather – was the Lord of a great Keep nearby.

Morcha – a dim-witted map-maker who can often be found at the top of Lookout Hill.

Mr Plug – First Mate on The Wormwood, under Captain Harringan.

Orkin The Owl Bear – main attraction of the Gottri Caravan. Was lost when released from his cage during the BugBear attack on the caravan.

Priestess Andina Val’Sheem – High Priestess of the Temple of Larissa. Wife to mayor of Reschenford.

Sebastien Munschberger – a merchant whose cousin works with the city guard at Daggerspine Watch.

Severen – Proprietor of the Storm Crow Inn.

Sheriff Balor – demoted for the second time, he won’t be sheriff for long. Headed for Dagger-Spine Watch located deep in the Xerbal Mountains.

The Grey Hands – an organization that ran Warden Smith out of a small town called Freshwood.

Tovar – a well-loved lighthouse keeper who died in a fire five years ago that consumed his lighthouse. The source of the fire has recently come under suspicion when his grave was robbed.

Warden Smith – new sheriff in Reschenford. Has a shady past in a town called Freshwood where he was run out of town by an organization called The Grey Hands.

Places of Interest

Anonica – a province of The Dormyrian Empire where our adventure begins in the riverside town of Reschenford.

Bald Hill – north of the river, just outside Reschenford. The location of strange flickering lights that appear to be some kind of beacon.

Daggerspine Watch – located deep in the Xerbal Mountains. Sheriff Balor has been reassigned here (just like the previous sheriff of Reschenford, Andrus).

Freshwood – a small town about one week’s travel away from Reschenford. Warden Smith was run out of Freshwood by an organization called The Grey Hands.

Garrotten – town south of Reschenford that suffers blooms of Box Jellyfish.

Isle of Tears – hidden lair of the Sorcerer King of Ymandragor located somewhere off the East coast of The Empire.

Kanseri – “the darklands” located somewhere to the North of The Empire across the River Volg.

Lighthouse – destroyed by a fire 5 years ago. Accessible at low-tide by a secret entrance through a dungeon crawling with undead, rats, bats, and mosquitos. Location of a secret cache of Drom weaponry looted by the Party.

Lookout Hill – south of the river, just outside Reschenford. Provides views of outlying areas.

Pebble Hills – somewhere to the South of Reschenford. The party has an undergound map that may relate to an area hidden beneath this location.

“The Keep” in the Borderlands – final destination of Gottri’s Caravan.

Port of Reschenford – small and undefended. As of week 2, two ships of interest are moored here: The Wormwood and The Gavotte.

Reschenford – a town on the Reschen River. Notable for its busy port, its three temples, and its formidable keep. 

Xerbal Mountains – somewhere to the Northwest of Reschenford. The party has an underground map that may relate to an area hidden beneath this location.

Pantheons & The 1,000 Temples

Beltine – Warden of the afterlife. Mistress of the Cauldron of Souls. Local wandering practitioner is our very own Mina!

Hurrian – Storm Lord. Temple of Hurrian is located on Temple Mount in the town of Reschenford. Head Priest is Father Krul Val’Tensen.

Cadic – God of Murder & Music. Lover of Larissa. 

Larissa – The Divine Oracle & The Divine Harlot. Temple of Larissa is located on Temple Mount in the town of Reschenford. Head Priestess is Andina Val’Sheem.

Saluwe – The Earth Mother & Goddess of Nature. A shrine dedicated to Saluwe is located outside of Reschenford.

The Dark Triumvirate – represented by three gods: Neroth (death, disease, undead), Sarish (oath-keeper, demon-binder, secret knowledge), and Nier (flames, destruction).

Magical Factions

Guild of Illuminators – Alchemists – good guys who specialize in light + fireworks.

Sorcerer King of Ymandragor – evil sorcerer who commands a faction of followers named the “Harvesters” who will abduct anyone found doing arcane magic.
